A typical Turkish small business — a hotel, a clinic, a shop — gets its customers through WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook messages, posts on social media when someone finds the time, answers quote requests late, and keeps its books in a spreadsheet until the accountant asks. The work is repetitive, but it is spread across five different jobs, and hiring five people is not an option.
We build software for these businesses at Atalay Tech. The same request kept coming back from our clients: "we don't need another app, we need someone who does the work."
atalay.ai lets a business hire AI employees on a monthly salary. Each one has a name, a role and a clear set of jobs:
| Employee | Role | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Ayşe | Customer representative | Collects WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook messages in one inbox, drafts or sends replies, books appointments |
| Mert | Sales advisor | Answers incoming requests, prepares quote drafts, follows up |
| Elif | Social media specialist | Plans posts for the business and publishes them after approval |
| Emre | Software developer | Builds and updates the business website and a mini mobile app from a conversation |
| Can | Bookkeeping assistant | Records income and expenses, prepares the monthly summary |
The rule behind every employee is the same: the AI prepares the work, the business keeps the final word.
Every conversation, every draft and every tool call in atalay.ai runs on Claude through Amazon Bedrock in the EU (Frankfurt) region. We use two models:
We chose Claude for three reasons that matter to a business owner rather than to a benchmark: it follows the business's own rules and tone reliably, it writes natural Turkish, and it knows when to stop and ask instead of guessing. Running it on Bedrock keeps every model call inside our own AWS account, in the EU region.
Tools, not just text. Each employee has its own set of tools. Emre can draft a website or a mobile app and revise it from chat; Elif turns a request into a social media plan; Can records an expense and reads the monthly summary; Ayşe updates her own reply rules when the owner says "don't answer pricing questions, hand those to me". A request is always routed to the employee who owns that job.
A team that hands work to each other. When the owner asks Ayşe about something that belongs to sales, she hands it to Mert inside the same conversation, and Mert answers in his own name. To keep this predictable and affordable, a single message can be handed over at most twice.
Real channels. Atalay Tech is a verified Meta Tech Provider. Businesses connect their Instagram account, Facebook Page and WhatsApp Business number, and Ayşe works on the real inbox — with rules the owner sets: which messages she answers on her own, which ones she only drafts, and when she steps back.
Guardrails. Every AI call is logged per company with its model and cost, each plan has a usage limit, and nothing is published on the business's behalf without its approval.
Atalay Tech is a small team, and we use Claude the same way we sell it:
This is how a founder-led studio ships at the pace of a much larger team.
atalay.ai is live on the web, the App Store and Google Play. Conversational chat is open to every business; the AI employees and their channel integrations are being rolled out to pilot businesses. Next up is a Shopify integration, so Ayşe can tell a customer exactly where their order is and Mert can answer price and stock questions straight from the store.
Laravel 13 and the Laravel AI SDK on the backend, React on the web, Expo / React Native on iOS and Android, Claude on Amazon Bedrock for every model call, and the Claude Agent SDK with MCP for our internal automation.
